The deadline to submit an abstract has been extended to the 30th of June 2025. Submit your student project and present your work at the ELLS Scientific Student Conference in Uppsala. The Conference is open for students from ELLS universities (Study program level BSc, MSc and first-year PhD).

Guidelines
Please read this instruction very carefully before you submit.
- Title: Maximum 30 words are allowed. Use capital letters only when absolutely necessary.
- Subtheme: Please select a suitable subtheme for your abstract.
- Keywords: Between 3 and 5 keywords are required, describing your work.
- Abstract text: The text must be at least 200 words and cannot exceed 300 words, excluding the title and name(s) of author(s). Tables, graphics, photos, etc. are not allowed.
- Observe that the reviewers and the audience is not necessarily experts in your field, therefore you should try to avoid being overly technical in your abstract.
- Presentation preferences: Please indicate your preference in this step. You can choose between an oral or poster presentation. The Scientific Committee will make the final decision.
- Authors: Enter your first and last names (and possibly additional authors. A maximum of 5 authors is allowed). If there is more than one author for your project, please be aware that only one person will be able to present during the conference. Choose who will present and who will attend the ELLS SSC 2025 as an audience. All names will be published in the book of abstracts. If your work was created in collaboration with a teacher from your university, you can include the name under acknowledgements.
Please ensure that every person listed as an author has agreed to be named. - Acknowledgements: Include first and last name of anyone who helped you with your work and abstract.
Corrections and withdrawal
The deadline for changes and withdrawals is 30 June 2025. For corrections after submitting the form, please email us to have the submission returned to you for corrections. The last version will be reviewed.

Selection of abstracts
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific committee in July-August 2025 and subsequently, the best abstracts will be chosen for presentations.
Authors will be notified in the beginning of September whether they have been selected or not. Notification of which format (poster or oral presentation), will follow in due course.
Poster submission
If selected for poster presentation, you will need to bring a printed poster to the conference and also, submit a digital version in advance.
Save your poster as single-page PDF, without moving content, and go to the Abstract system. Log in with the same credentials as when you submitted your abstract. If you have forgotten your login information, you can click on the link "Forgot password?" and fill in your email that you used when you submitted your abstract and you will receive an email sent to you with the instructions for creating a new password. Deadline: November 6.
