The ELLS Subject Area Forestry deals with all aspects that affect forest and forestry in Europe today. This ranges from impacts of climate change on European forests, associated natural disturbances and reduced CO2 sequestration, to biodiversity protection, as well as renewable and sustainable wood provision for a bioeconomy.
