Scientific Student Conference 2020

The first online Scientific Student Conference was organised by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. The aim of this conference was to encourage students student within the field of Life Sciences to engage with one another, exchange ideas and discuss their own research related to the topic ‘The World of Tomorrow – A Green and Sustainable Society’ and the four subthemes

• Green innovation and technology
• Circular and bio based economy
• Rural and urban development for thriving communities
• Food and health for the next generation 

36 oral and 41 poster presentations discussed various aspects of these themes.
The scientific programme was completed by a start-up panel discussion, professsional soft skill trainings and social programmes as a scavenger hunt that facilitated networking between the participants from allover the world.
