Background of Summer School / Introduction
Starting with idea generation and team formation, then the next day problem & customer exploration, business model creation, solution development and market analysis, then a third day with prototyping and product design, combined with pitch training, and the last day conitinued pitch training and then the final pitch competition, and a keynote from investors.

Ca. 20 students
Pre-requisites
Interest in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Students of ELLS universities have precedence. Other interested students are welcome to apply as well.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)
After having conducted this course, students can
- describe the steps necessary for developing own business ideas towards an actual business operation,
- identify a potential business idea,
- explain their business idea through the construction of a simple prototype,
- outline a To Do list of actual first steps that would be necessary for getting started on their own business after having completed the course.

Costs
The costs for accommodation in a single room incl. breakfast (Stuttgart Downtown), lunch in the cafeteria, 4x ticket for public transportation to the university are included.
In addition, travel expenses for train- or flight tickets may be eligible for additional financial support/refunding, depending on final number of course participants. Students must in any case pay travel in advance.
