European E-Book Series on GIS
The Euroleague E-book1 Series project intends to develop an infrastructure that will support, qualify and share text books in an E-book format that easily can be adapted (for extension and selection) and linked to digital assessment repositories (like the DART project provided). In the Subject Area Geo-Information for Life Sciences we aim at an E-book that will be based on existing digital documents and materials already in use at UHOH, KVL, BOKU and WUR and which will be linked to the DART questions and answers repository.
Derived objectives are :
- the evaluation of the geo-information basics in need of the Euroleague students and teachers to be able to apply these in the different domains of the Euroleague Life Science courses.
- the definition of an EU educational project proposal by the Euroleague partners to further extent the content of the dynamic Geo-Information E-book into the Environmental sciences applications.
