Environmental Case Studies in Europe 2008
Ecological Management in Disaster Areas

The 1st ECSE is held 7 – 26th July 2008 hosted by the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague (CULS). One week of home studies is followed by two weeks field excursion in the Czech Republic.

A general background in environmental science including insight in ecology, botany, zoology, soil and water resources and management related to nature conservation is recommended. The course is aimed at students finalizing their BSc or starting up their MSc.

Staff from CULS and other ELLS universities and representatives from administration and enterprises will act as teachers and instructors.

Fees

This is a course supported by Erasmus program of the EU commission. The accommodation and food is paid for and only a registration fee of 50 euro is required.
