Rhizotechnology for enhancing resource efficiency in low-input farming

Aim of course
This Summer University aims at bringing together international teachers and students in a multicultural environment. High-level teaching by leading European experts is targeted at PhD and master students in the final phase of their studies. The course is designed to cover all aspects of rhizosphere ecology and application of rhizotechnolgies in low-input agriculture.
Subject of course
Teachers and students from ELLS universities and other partners (e.g. Prague, Ljubljana) and other leading European experts are working with students in a ten days course. The course format consists of a mix of lectures, seminars, laboratory, green house and field courses. The course concludes with presentations of the students and related discussion. The course aims at actively involving students, using the problem-based learning approach.
