Information for Exchange Students
Summer schools and other short term intensive programs
Overview: An overview of all joint short term ELLS programs is given at "study programs".
Application: In general, the application form for short term programs is sent directly to the course coordinator. You find deadlines and further details of the application procedure, contact addresses and the application form in the course description.
Important: Please inform the IRO office or the ELLS secretariat of your home university about your application.
Financial support: Some ELLS universities provide scholarships for participants of ELLS summer schools. Please address the international relations office of your home university
Recognition: The mutual recognition of joint ELLS programmes is generally agreed by the ELLS partner universities if the course fits into the individual study programme. In case of problems please contact the ELLS Secretariat.

ERASMUS
The ERASMUS programme offers the possibility of studying abroad in another European country for a period of between 3 and 12 months.You may receive a study grant! And you won't have to pay university fees abroad! In addition, your studies abroad will be recognised at your home university.
All ELLS universities have bilateral contracts securing out-going students EU support.

International Relation Offices
The International Relation Offices are the central units that provide support for all issues concerning student exchange. The International Relation Officers (IROs) deal with all questions pertaining to a stay in a foreign country, i.e. admission, scholarships, health insurance, etc. Students planning to study at another ELLS university should contact the IRO at their home and at the host university.
